Duties of a Supervisor
What are the duties and roles of a County Supervisor?
Primary Legislative and Executive Duties

Fiscal Oversight: Adopting the County's annual budget and appropriating funds for programs that meet resident needs.

Policy & Ordinance Adoption: Creating and enacting county ordinances, setting operating policies, and maintaining the County Ordinance Code.

Land Use & Infrastructure: Making major land-use decisions, approving long-range development plans, and overseeing improvements to county infrastructure.

Personnel Management: Selecting and supervising County Department Heads (excluding other elected officials like the Sheriff or District Attorney) and overseeing the county's workforce policies.

Public Safety & Disaster Response: Coordinating with the Office of Emergency Services (OES) to lead local emergency management and community recovery efforts during disasters.
External and Community Roles

Advocacy: Serving as spokespeople to local media and acting as advocates for Lake County’s needs before state and federal elected officials.

Committee Service: Representing the county on regional and local boards and commissions covering transportation, air quality, and economic development.

Constituent Services: Assisting citizens with problem-solving and responding to sensitive public requests or complaints.

Economic Promotion: Working with local business owners and community organizations to promote tourism and commerce, particularly regarding Clear Lake.

Honesty plays a crucial role in achieving this success. Having strength to stand up, and sometimes going against the status quo is essential for positive change. Danielle may not always tell people what they want to hear, but she will always tell the truth which is hard pressed to find these days. This is not a one person job because it relies on input from the all communities within the districts to solve the issues at hand. She will ask for your ideas and concerns whole heartedly with an open mind to make District 3 the very best place to live in Lake County.

As a resident and business owner in Lake County for the past two decades, Danielle has embraced the Northshore. Drawn by the small town charm and God-given natural beauty surrounding, she has proudly called Lucerne her home since 2017.
Danielle understood her mission to inspire the community through action and positive engagement. She is now passionate to extend her inspiring reach beyond to encompass the entire District 3 region, and across Lake County.

of the communities; not by political affiliations.

Since 2000, she has owned and operated several businesses with each endeavor building upon the former with exponential success.
For the past two decades, Danielle's design business has built brands to high standards
which has become second nature for her.
